Who should skip dune bashing?
- Pregnant guests (not recommended after first trimester)
- Guests with back, neck or joint problems
- Anyone prone to motion sickness
- Children under 3
- Anyone who simply prefers a smooth arrival
How the direct transfer works
Your driver takes the flat desert track instead of the dune route, dropping you at the camp in time for sunset activities. The 25-minute dune drive is skipped; everything else — camel rides, henna, dinner, shows — is identical.
Which levels offer direct transfer?
All of them. Tell us when you book and we note it on your voucher. Your driver confirms the direct route.
What you do not miss
The sunset. The stars. The camel. The henna. The dinner. The shows. The Arabic coffee. The full desert evening — just without the seatbelt moment before it.
FAQ
Is dune bashing safe during pregnancy?
Not recommended, particularly from the second trimester. Take the direct transfer and enjoy the full camp evening.
Can I change my mind on the day?
If you feel fine and want to join the dune drive, tell your driver before departure. Easier to switch from direct to dune bashing than the reverse.
Is the camp accessible without dune bashing?
Yes. The flat track is a smooth gravel road. Tell us your needs and we confirm the camp layout.
